HOW TO APPLY

Registration as a Dental Technician

Applicants may apply for registration under the Dental Technicians Registration Act 1975, the Mutual Recognition (NSW) Act 1992 or the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (NSW) Act 1997.

Applicants who are new graduates of recognised courses and applicants who are not registered in another State or Territory of Australia or New Zealand should apply under the Dental Technicians Registration Act.

Applicants who are registered in another State or Territory of Australia, or New Zealand, should apply under mutual recognition.

Registration as a Dental Prosthetist

Applicants may apply for registration under the Dental Technicians Registration Act 1975, the Mutual Recognition (NSW) Act 1992 or the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (NSW) Act 1997.

Applicants who are new graduates of recognised courses and applicants who are not registered in another State or Territory of Australia or New Zealand should apply for a practising certificate under the Dental Technicians Registration Act.

Applicants who are registered in another State or Territory of Australia, or New Zealand, should apply under mutual recognition.
